Priest of the Sakhigopal Temple Kisses Shilpa Shetty

Shilpa Shetty is in the news for getting a kiss on her rosy cheeks. In 2009, it is her kiss controversy with the priest of the Sakhigopal Temple in Orissa.

She visited Sakhigopal temple and the priest of the temple became so happy with Shilpa’s visit that while blessing her, he gave a kiss on her cheeks. Some local people are also claiming that Shilpa has entered the temple with her shoes in. Two years back, Richard Gere had an impromptu hug and kiss with her during an event to promote safe sex and arise AIDS awareness program in India. After this Kissing event, a large number of protesters burned effigies of Gere on the streets of Kanpur, Meerut and Varanasi while shouting “down with Gere”
