Ford Field Box Office:all information is through internet media and different sites and the news is that Tickets for the Vikings tonight Thurs Giants at Ford Field are no longer distributed. “The Detroit Lions have announced that due to the overwhelming response this morning for tickets to tonights game between the Minnesota Vikings and New York Giants atFord Field, tickets will no longer be distributed to the Ford Field Box Office, “the Lions said in a news release.”Any person already holding a ticket to Vikings-Giants game to be played in Minneapolis on Sunday, will be admitted and given places of choice tonight in Detroit.....Read More

Metrodome Roof Collapses

Metrodome officials are saying it is "unlikely" the facility would be ready for a game by Monday night. I will be updating this story as much as I can over at SB Nation New York. Keep checking over there for new information.

Metrodome Collapse:The Minneapolis Metrodome roof collapsed, due to the heavy snow in the area. CNN reports that The roof of the city’s 64,000-seat football stadium caved in after over 17 inches of snow hit the Twin Cities since Friday.

Minneapolis city officials were concerned about the Metrodome’s Teflon-covered inflatable dome on Friday evening, resulting in the scheduled NFL game between the New York Giants and the Minnesota Vikings to be postponed. The NY Giants were not able to even get to the Minneapolis airport due to the snow and their plane had to be diverted to Kansas City.The National Weather Service reports that the Twin Cities received 17.1 inches of snow between Friday night and Saturday night.
